I'm a film-maker who became an archaeologist who became a film-maker who became an academic. I've had films screened at the Maleny film festival all the way to Cannes and everything in between. As well as a Senior Lecturer in Film Production I am also a writer/director/producer of many documentaries, children's TV shows and series for 7, 9, ABC, SBS and Foxtel. As an archaeologist and tutor for UQ I specialised in historical archaeology, specifically of the convict era. I adore history, historical artefacts, antiques, art, books and collectibles as well as having a healthy obsession with cinema and quality television.
