As I look around at my single twenty-something friends I can’t help but feel sad for them. The dating scene today is difficult to navigate and not for the faint of heart. In the last ten years, so much has changed when it comes to relationships. Technology, the down economy, the overwhelming sexual culture and a growing fear of truth are all leading to dating customs that are far removed from being person-centered. Rather feelings, emotions, passions and common practice are taking the reigns.

Over the next couple weeks Tamara and I will be delving into this topic, dissecting it piece by piece and offering thoughts on how to bring back the person-centered side of dating. We’re looking forward to your thoughts on the issues, so don’t be shy – share a comment.
