An Australian reader sent this picture of a billboard outside their local Uniting Church — a creative attempt at bursting a latter-day South Sea bubble. The text at the top reads, “Jesus said: I came so that they may have life and have it to the full.” Just as well the couple aren’t sitting in front of a big, power-guzzling plasma screen or we wouldn’t even be able to see them — except from behind.
