Michelle Obama is talking, a lot, and her stream of consciousness is very revealing.
Take this snip, which is characteristic of her views:
Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America
in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country
that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation
of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of
struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as
heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten
worse over my lifetime…
Negative stuff, from spouse of the candidate of hope. Plenty more on this site. She’s really ventilating.
Then there’s this snip:
Listening to her speeches, with their longing for a
lost, spit-shine world, one could sometimes mistake her, were it not
for the emphasis on social justice, for a law-and-order Republican.
So, that means the Republicans disregard social justice? Now there’s
a blanket accusation. Law-and-order, huh…? Note the bitter divisive
language, whether coming form Michelle Obama, or the liberal media
When we respect the natural law and and observe the moral order,
social justice matters just fall into place. And we realize that life
