This is a cute story about a little girl who eats too many pink cupcakes (a weakness I can relate to). She eats so many, in fact, that she turns pink. After the doctor prescribes a strict diet of greens and her parents prohibit everything pink, she sneaks one last pink cupcake… and promptly turns red. The only thing that can bring her back to normal is greens, greens and more greens.
Even though it’s a good storyline, I didn’t like the way it was told. She’s spoilt, sneaky and rude and I doubt many parents would put up with her behaviour. Neither is the parenting style exemplary, it lacks any real communication with the child and is more like a shouting match to see who will dominate the other.
Surely there must be better stories about my favourite food!
