On the anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest civil rights
leaders in history, who eloquently preached and fought for the sanctity
of human life and the dignity of every human being, two stories that
crossed my path struck me as jarring.

Planned Parenthood is sending condoms and birth control pills to Haiti.

“At the International Planned Parenthood secure giving web page, the
abortion giant says PROFAMIL has been operating in Haiti since 1984 to
provide “sexual and reproductive healthcare.”

“The group “educates the public about prevention and ensures
widespread access to condoms” to “young people aged 10-25″ with
“regular condom demonstrations.”

“In other words, Planned Parenthood is asking for money to help it
pass out condoms and birth control to children who are looking for
their next meal and medical care for injuries they and their family
sustained in the earthquake.

“The Planned Parenthood Help Haiti fundraising site says its local
affiliate “meets regularly with the Minister of Health to develop
strategies for increasing access” to birth control and contraception
and that the group regularly targets “rural communities where the
people are totally isolated” and likely have little access to food and
water now.”

Concerned Women for America president Wendy Wright said: “As corpses
fill the streets and the world wonders how few Haitians will survive
this crisis of mass proportions, Planned Parenthood’s goal is to reduce
their numbers even more,”…

“Planned Parenthood exhibits its racist intentions again. If
successful, Haitians would be denied the joy of children and the hope
that their country will live on,” she added.”

Speaking of PP focusing extra attention on low-income, minority neighborhoods

“Protesters are calling it an abortion supercenter: a
78,000-square-foot building just south of Houston that’s shaped like a
cash register and has a surgical wing on the third floor for
second-trimester abortions.

“Located off Interstate 45 just outside the main gate of the
University of Houston and barely a mile from Texas Southern University,
the new six-story headquarters for Planned Parenthood of Houston and
Southeast Texas opens in early April.

“Protestant and Catholic clergy and potentially thousands of protesters are converging on it Monday.

“On Martin Luther King’s holiday, we want black Americans and
Hispanics to raise their voices and say we’re not for this in our
neighborhood,” said rally organizer Lou Engle, founder of the Kansas
City, Mo.-based TheCall, which gathers Christians to pray and fast for

They don’t want this anywhere, frankly, but really resent its location here.

“Planned Parenthood promoting abortion in the minority community is
a massive form of genocide,” said Bishop Harry Jackson of Hope
Christian Church in Beltsville, Md. “On Martin Luther King Jr.’s day,
we’re there to say although things have gotten better for blacks across
the country, their fundamental right to life is not being honored by
the abortion industry.”

How is it that Jesse Jackson used to see this but turned pro-abortion? Where’s Rev. Al Sharpton on this? President Obama….?

Here’s where Dr. Martin Luther King’s niece is. Meet Dr. Alveda King.
